What is the purpose of the Inverter?
PV panels generate direct current (DC), this is not directly compatible with the 240V alternating current (AC) that is used in your property. The inverter converts the DC power to AC power that can be used in your property.
Are the panels you install MCS approved?
The panels we supply meet all the required standards including TUV and MCS certification required to claim the FIT (Feed In Tariff) payments.
Are Solar PV panels and inverters covered by a warranty?
All of the PV panels we install are covered by a 25 year performance warranty and will therefore be guaranteed to produce electricity for the entire 25 year period in which the Feed In Tariff will be paid. Inverters are generally supplied with a 5 year warranty, although this can be extended at an additional cost. Please feel free to ask us for more information with regards to extending the warranty on Inverters. All warranty information on installed PV panels and inverters can be found within the hand-over documentation for future reference.
